That sounds like the sort of LF 'kit' that I would really love, Jim. This
past weekend I spent a few hours on the valley floor looking around near the
Leura Forrest and Katoomba Falls, with my Rollei 6008i + 80mm +Tmax 400 (I
was limiting myself to one lens as it was a hiking/handheld day -- well I
did rest the beast on a couple of logs, but mostly it was by hand). Great
fun, and by the looks of the negs I have drying at the moment , very
successful.
But.......I saw so many possibilities for LF whilst down there, and that is
one of the reasons that have been looking at the Technika myself over recent
months. It isn't the first time that I have read or heard the sentiment that
Leica and Linhof have a comfortable mutuality about them -- and I certainly
feel that the Rollei fits in just as well when that is the format that I
need.
May the light shine on, and for, your Leica and your Linhof (and my Rollei!)
