Could we put a stop to this, please?  This is a kin to pulling over to the 
side of the road where someone is broken down in the same car that you are 
driving and saying, "huh, that's funny.  I've never had a problem with mine. 
  It drives as wonderfully as the day I bought it.  It must suck to be you!" 
  Then screeching the tires and driving away.  I realize that this thread 
has been done to death, and can be quite annoying.  However, if you were 
new(er) to Leica and had problems loading your film effectively, might you 
not post the same inquiry?  Maybe we, the lucky Leica users with no history 
of inaccurate meters and rangefinders, etc. can celebrate these wonderful 
tools without rubbing other's faces and our good fortune?

Damn the 2nd law of Thermodynamics!

Just a suggestion from a newbie leica user, longtime peace lover.
