True, it is an excellent little flash for a M6, even if not TTL.
But bounced it is not so powerful!

This said, after 6 months I still use my first set 
of lithium batteries in my SF-20.
Same kind of batteries (DL123) as in the R8 winder 
where they also last long.

Longer than 8 AAs in a F5 by the way.
;-)

AA batteries will be great, but may destroy the compactness.
