The lens is most decidedly NOT made by Voigtlander:  that esteemed
Braunschweig factory was closed in 1979 and is no more.  This lens is a
Japanese optic which just happens to bear the Voigtlander name by license.
Nor, I understand, is it a Heliar by design.  They "borrowed" the lens name
along with the brand.
