It was well built and resonably ergonomic, but not as nice as the Leica M4 that replaced it. Like the LTM cameras (except IIIg) the viewfinder is very "squinty" and for glasses wearers would be a pain. One of my best ever images was taken with this camera and a 50mm Sonnar. It is an informal portrait of my father and it hangs in 11x14 format on my "picture wall." When I had mine it was rumored that they were VERY hard to get repaired, but I don't know if that was, or is, true.
