I have a Manfrotto monopod. Collapsed it measures 27" long and fully
extended is 61". The swivel head adds another 3". The outer tube is 1.25" in
diameter. It is made of polished stainless steel and has a 6" long rubber
hand grip and adjustable hand strap immediately below the swivel head. IMO
it is as aesthetically pleasing as it is servicable. The outer tube
indicates that it is model #479/JA19.
