scuffed and so is my Hasselblad. If we are honest with ourselves, the
ultimate photo snobbery is a worn but sturdy camera that shows metal
(not plastic) beneath the paint. It shows that you have a tool, not a
toy :)

The majority of Leica users I know are sort of anal when it comes to the

cosmetics of their equipment.  I think you might have 60's-era-PJ
Romantic images of the guys who covered the War, with battle fatigues
battered-up M2's, M3's and Nikon F's around their necks.
