Subject: [Leica] Leica: IIIf shutter holes

a friend of mine just bought a Leica IIIf and it appears some problems with
first results, apparently some holes in the shutter causes white spots on
fotos.

Gilles,

Sadly, the camera has been left in the sun too long, and burnt a hole in
the shutter. It will need to be replaced. I had the same experience on my
M3 -- and I was leaving the camera out to ensure no fungus grew. Stupid me.
;-)

Cheers
