Cheaper to do is get the Leica extension tube set- works with the Tele lens
too... You can get the three piece set rather cheaply, and since the
Catadioptric lens doesn't have the cams, you will be alright in the metering
department as well.

Why the heck didn't Leica make their 500mm reflex focus nearer than 4
metres?  I had no idea that this was the case until I just bought one and
was disappointed to find it out.  I have an 'brand x" 500 mm reflex that I
have used for several years which focusses to 2.5 metres and provides some
"macro" coverage.  I can't see spending several hundred dollars more for
less range of focus.  I'm sending it back!  Kent
