So often, camera designers make choices that for the life of me I cannot
begin to understand.  Why on Earth should you not be able to use
CW metering in manual on the R7, given that it has a CW metering mode?

There are a million examples of, what I call, senseless design out there
so don't climb into your armour and mount that white stallion just
because I chose a Leica example ;)

Can anyone else think of a good example of senseless design?  Something
that there seems to be no rational reason for, but which is exceedingly
annoying (let's keep to cameras, at least ;)
