Alastair,
I've just tried my M6 + Noctilux at 1/15 or 1/8 hand held and did not feel
that the curtain's movement shook the camera. My impression was that any
"shake" was dampened by the substantial weight of camera and lens.
N.B. I also had a grip attached.
