If your heart ticks at feeling your M6 release, or seeing the mechanism inside, you will have trouble breathing upon seeing this masterpiece. I am sure your wife will get gelous if she catches you peeking at a picture of this one :-) A minimalist watch like Leica is a minimalist camera (at least the rangefinders). Too bad they only make it in 18K. I will never afford one of these at $65,000 and growing ( I seem to think that's what they used to cost last time I heard). And the moment they stop making it they'll shoot up! They came up with the high frequency watch in the '60 (that means 10ticks per second, or as they say 36,000 vibration per hour(!)) And they designed the first mass-produced quartz watch in 1969. And so they imposed the frequency of the quartz (32.77 kHz (approximately)) which all quartz watches use nowadays. Sort of like Leica and 24X36mm format! Lucian NO ARCHIVE AND do not repost to the watch list(!) those guys may be mean <:-)
