Subject: Re: [Leica] M6 TTL and flash opinions please

I have a few questions for those who use the M6 TTL about how well the
Leica flash functions.

1. Is the Leica flash capable of very small amounts of flash - say when
using very fast film such as 1600 ISO. Can it be set to very gently fill
at the ambient light levels that would go with using this very fast ISO?
Stated again, can it do accurate, delicate fill or does it just roast
everything in sight?

2. How does it compute the exposure? How much area is used for this? Is
it the same area as the ambient meter area?

3. Would I be just as well off using some small auto or manual flash?
(I'm old enough to know about guide numbers and how to use them and also
have a flash meter). If this seems like a better idea, which unit? I'd
like to use a very small flash that uses AA batteries, but its not
required.

4. Can you compare/contrast the functionality of the Leica TTL camera and
flash to Nikons current system which I use and is I think the best.
(shame the lenses are not as great)

Thanks,

Henry Ambrose
