Joe,

I own a Cannon 50mm 1.2 lens and I would on ly use it in an emergency. It is
quite fuzzy and lousy at out the out of focus area. I Bought a whole Cannon 7
outfit from a Pawn shop., for about 35 AUS. That's about $25 US at the moment.
The outfit had 2
Cannon 7 cameras, a 50mm 1.2, a 50mm 1.8, a 35mm f2 and 2 100mm f3.5 black
lenses with it.
The best lens from the above is the 35mm F2. This is superb. The rest are OK,
but the 1.2 is crap. It fits on to all screw mount Leicas direct, But obscures
the view finder somewhat. Use an adapter for the M cameras. But if you use a
lens hood, you'll obscure about a 1/4 of the view finder field. If you have not
bought it yet, don't buy it.
