  Paul, I would think that your life would be easier there if you were to be
seen regularly.  Maybe have a pic-nic there, or lunch every so often.  Talk
to the parents and if possible bring your own children.  Bring a user camera
and let the kids take a picture or two.  Once you have been identified by
the adults as "safe" the rest will be a piece of cake.
