Subject: [Leica] Is there a series VI polariser filter?

Did Leitz or Leica ever offer a Series VI polarising filter for the
50mm f2 Summicron-R of the Leicaflex? My dealer suggests probably not,
saying that the filter on this lens drops into the front on the mount
and is held in place by a screw-in retaining ring - there would be no
way of turning the filter, he suggests.
