My only autofocus is the 8008(Not s). It does a great job of follow focusing fellow speeding Tyronasoursrex; a clone of some other Rex probably Zeiss. When I used to use it alot my technique was of course to not have to zone focus but to just not bother looking through the darn thing. I often just pointed in the general direction of the loudest noise. So I sliced a few heads off! I usually got the shot. They have their use. And of course we have discussed those little flashes with the laser beams that shoot out in total darkness and focus your camera for you. Great for shooting those noises in the dark! Mark Rabiner
