I'm trying to find the date of manufacture for an old screw mount Elmar =
lens, sn #147980. It's a nickel mount, marked in meters, f3.5-18.
=20
I have the Hove pocket book  and the Leica The first 60 Years by =
Rogliatti, but both begin lens numbers at 156001 circa 1933.Do you know =
of any other sources that go back further?Or can someone identify date?
