Subject: Re: [Leica] I love the 35 Summilux!!

It always amazes me. As soon as Leica releases a new lens, the previous
model
turns out to be just about useless. How did some of you manage to create
decent
pictures before the latest, bestes, most perfectest lens was released?

"Well... Nobody realized that all the pictures were so bad."
Or... "They don't make things like they used too!"
This could mean that 'they' don't make crap anymore.
Or it could mean that the things before the new things were crappy and the
new stuff is not as crappy because the tests show less crap
(in the corners) and the tests are themselves less crappy and the people who
rate crapiness are less crappier as well.
So, this amounts to the conclusion that the 35/2 is sort of crappy compared
to the 35/2 asph.
