I would recommend the old Willi Beutler type developers for the really slow 
films such as Efke, Tech Pan and microfilm.  TEC is such a developer and 
available in the US.  Otherwise, just use the first Beutler formula for the 
slow films. 

Should you be interested, let me know and I will be happy to provide a few 
tips.
