I've used Leica's, Nikons and Konicas in -40°C weather, and they all work
OK. Motor drives are a bit of a problem, but metering usually holds up. The
Nikons were F2's with the metering prisms, and the Konicas the Autoreflex T
series, with shutter speed preferred automation run by a 625 battery. The
Leicas had to be fairly clean (as in shutter serviced) to handle the cold,
but the Nikon horizontal metal shutter and Konica Copal Square always did
fine.
