Right next door to the building I'm sitting in!!! They do indeed have the Adams collection as well as many others. The even have most of Lagar's books in the library there!! I think it is possible to view the prints by app. check out this web site. -Dennis http://dizzy.library.arizona.edu/branches/ccp/ccphome.html > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Frank > Filippone > Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 1999 6:36 AM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: RE: [Leica] London travel report and famous negatives > > > While I'm on the topic, I've heard that an American University has Ansel > Adams negatives it makes available to students to print from. > > > I have forgotten specifically which colllege it is, but I remember it in > Phoenix, Flagstaff or Tucson, someone else may remember,,, > It is the same place he gifted his entire set of negs to.....University of > Arizona ???? > > But the story goes that you must have the right credentials, right > introduction letter, and you work from what I remember as "work > negatives"..... exact copies.
