Lucien aigner was an American (US domiciled) photographer - famous along =
with Eisenstadt and Capa, as an early adaptee of the Leica in the '30's. =
He had numerous one-man exhibitions/retrospectives and was widely =
published in USA and Europe. I believe his early fame was inticately =
linked with pioneering work in the new 35mm format promoted by Leica. My =
salutation was directed as much to his support of the camera, as to his =
large body of exemplary and sometimes famous, work from the first half =
of this century.
