Lovely name, Edmond. One of my disappointments in the English language
(besides seeing how snuck has sneaked into acceptable usage), is our use of
"it" for Leica instead of "she" as in the German (die Leica).

Ingird, Linnea, Dianne - what beautiful names. My first Leica was a black M2
that was so battle scarred from pro use in Sweden (and around the world),
that I never thought to name her back in 1967.  I do remember a lovely
"Lena" and a gorgeous "Annali" from those years as a young man in Europe,
but they weren't cameras.
