A suggestion we received from Ted ( I sure wish he would come back) was to
try to learn to leave your lens at infinity, the idea being you know always
which way to turn lens to focus...if you do this and use some of the earlier
ideas about learning to estimate how far to turn a lens to focus at a given
distance you will be much better off.
