Actually, 1965. I had some lenses for it once that were dated 1964 
according to serial number databases. So they must have been built before 
the camera was actually released.

You haven't used the 70-180 2.8. You would not believe how un-fuzzy it is. 
And it ain't slow, either.

There is the 15mm 3.4 Super Angulon. It's a Zeiss design, but with special 
Leica coating. And then there's the totally awesome 19mm 2.8. Of course, 
for M users, they are limited.
