Subject: Re: [Leica] Do not like 75mm framelines

How are the frame lines in an M camera produced? Are they projections of
slots in a mask?

I've often wondered how easy it would be to delete selected frames,
perhaps by arranging the construction of a replacement 'mask' (if that's
what it is that produces the lines).

'cos you see (and I appreciate that this may be heretical) I'd like a 2
frame line M6, with just solid frames for 35mm and 75mm, which come up on
their own.

(I'll run away and hide, now).
