Subject: [Leica] M2 questions

I'm thinking of getting an M2 to supplement my M6 and give me some period
feel at the same time. I know that you can squint through an M4 or M4-2
finder and more-or-less see the frame area for a 28mm lens. Does this also
apply to the M2 viewfinder? I just can't find a definitive statement to
that effect anywhere although it looks like the M2 has essentially the same
viewfinder as the M4, M4-2, etc.

And another M2 question; does the M2 rewind knob really slow you down, and
do the add-on winder attachments assuming they are still available work as
well as the M6 rewind crank?
