Hi Eric,

The flash metering option for $1000 was to use the camera as a flash meter
without exposing the film.  Nice feature but several times the price of a
good flash meter.  Standard TTL Flash Metering works wonderfully well on the
Rollei.

BTW, Doesn't the R8 lack the ability for shutter dragging with Flash?  IOW,
using the TTL mode of the R8 you can set the shutter speed camera sets the
aperture, or you set the aperture camera then sets the shutter speed, but I
believe it lacks the ability for you to set both manually and use the flash.
Is this correct?  A friend of mine who used to use Leica Rs at weddings fpor
Photojournalism told me this.  He now uses a Canon EOS-1n because of this.
Just wondering if its true.
