I probably agree vis á vis cropping but one of my
goals/exercises/intents is to get my seeing and composing as close to
the moment as possible. So one of the disciplines I impose on myself is
not to crop other than in the viewfinder. Kind of a zen thing of
pursuing awareness (which in itself is an oxymoronic statement). I
thought the content strong enough in this to overcome my framing
limitations. Also, since it was shot at 1/15 at f2.0 real quickly
there's just the barest hint of soft focus that would go to pieces if I
crop and enlarge any more.
