In regard to the 50 DR and the "rigid" mount lenses, they are the same optical
design.  I have heard that the Leitz factory selected the "better" performing
lens heads for use with the DR mounts as they were to be used in more critical
applications such as the close up range.  True or old wives' tale?  Perhaps
Erwin could shed some light on this.
