Here I am, Kevin!  Actually, I didn't have anything to add since pretty
much do what Ted does and push the button when the arrows light up!  I
studied the zone system and used to carry around a spot meter and do all
kinds of averaging, but by the time I figured everything out the light had
changed or the photo was gone!  For the kind of photography I do, timing is
more important than 1/2 an f stop in either direction anyway.  The answers
were very informative though and I've saved them for future reference.
