Yes Sander and unfortunately I have been taken with some of the fakes. I was
in the Grand Caymans last year and bought the most legitimate box of Cuban
Romeo &
Julietta Churchills at a hotel. The box was perfect with the correct stamps
and the cigars were perfectly constructed. Half of the cigars were so bad
that I couldn't smoke them. I don't smoke very often but when I do I usually
purchase dependable brands of Dominican cigars like Davidoff, Arturo Fuente
Opus X or the Romeo & Julietta Vintage. The Opus X is very close to being as
good as the better Cubans.

Wish you were here, we could enjoy a good cigar, some port and talk about
photography and Leicas. Have a great weekend.

Bob

<< Bob and Jim,

Thanks and I will look up Paul B&W series.

I think there is a possiblility to visit Cuba through any Canadian travel
agency. It is really a good photo opportunity. Unfortunately the Cohiba's
etc. are verrrrry expensive. Lots of fakes offered in the streets, with a
 smile!

Will post the webpage on the LUG.
