They go for from $1,000 to $1,200 dollars.  The older ones take the
unobtainable bulb and a retrofit kit from Leica is about $100 so they
will take the 13139 bulb.  The newer enlargers will have the bulb type
13139 printed on the cover to the bulb housing.  Other than the bulb,
there is no difference between them.


I have a V35 and the extra $500 dollars is worth it in convenience. 
Remember too that they come with the 40mm focotar which is as good as the
best schnieder or Rodenstock lens.  I would presume if you bought a non
Leica enlarger with an 40mm APO Rodagon or equivalent, you would probably
pay near $1,00 anyways.
