Using Photoshop and a $8,000 Kodak dye sub printer, I get just better image
quality that most printing places - except the very best. That is, form
normal viewing distances. Get up close and you see it's a digital print.

The Nikon LS2000 is just fine for all but the very high end of scanning.
It's just knowing how to use it. I had a much harder time doing black and
white than color with scanners. But I'm finally getting the hang of it and
am getting some very nice images printed out.

But if I were into producing prints for exhibit, I'd still do it the
old-fashioned way. Those prints still look better to me.
