Canon  also had the 24mm f/1.4L in the Fd version..... I had one for a 
while but that was stolen and I replaced it with a 24mm f/2...... I 
should point out that the 24mm f/2 is only about a centimeter longer than 
my Canon 50 f/1.4 and about 3 millimeters longer than the Canon 35 f/2.
