Subject: Re: [Leica] Adorama Leica compatible lenses

I've used both of these lenses (they're "Avenon" lenses imported by
Bower) which belonged to a hobbyist-friend. They are quite nicely
constructed and optically superior to the 21/4 S/A and all LTM 28's.
For an LTM user, they're quite the bargain. They are not as good as the
M-mount 28's or 21's (except the f/4 S/A). The finders, which can be
purchased separately, are quite nice (being all-metal casings) but aren't
as clear and crisp as the latest plastic Leica finders, nor do they have
as much eye-relief (for spectacle-wearers).

Regards,
Nigel
