Current Kodachrome is way behind the development (joke) curve compared to
the current E-6 films. Don't you suspect that if Kodak decided to update
Kodachrome, that it could very well again take the lead in quality?
Technically, the potential is there, and Kodak is selling the new mini
KLabs. Now all they need is an updated emulsion.
