The few of Herbert Keppler's articles I glanced at in recent years
centred around how wonderful his images are from the cheapest no-name
lenses (usually from Cambridge Camera in New York) on obsolete 70's
vintage SLR's with fast colour negative film.  (This from a man who no
doubt has the latest and greatest photo equipment at his disposal
courtesy of the manufacturers.)  If he at least claimed to prefer ancient
Leicas, one could respect his eclecticism.
