Dominique Pellissier,

>>But, I prefer my good old Elmarit 90 R<<

A phrase from one of your last MSGs; almost an after-
thought. Which prompted me to realize just how often
I use mine & bring back many a great "moment".

I have a Billingham f5.6 bag, in which I carry one
body ( R8) & two lenses ( Elmarit 24 & 90 ); it goes
with me almost everywhere.

In contrast, I've got some other optical gems; however,
it's the light weight & balance which motivates me
to carry & thus, get into my hands & actually use it!

I wonder how many others do as I've done. Spend
money for the impeccable glass & then use the
so called "lessor" lenses for the "joyful" work (&>)!

In retrospect, I could shoot most everything with just
the 24mm, 90mm, & 180mm Elmarits. How'd I end
up with all this extra gear. Truly a madness!

Look what you set in motion, Dominique, with just
a casual phrase. Forgive my ramblings (&>)!
