          I guess I'd better make it real clear that Eric didn't
actually try to sell his or his employer's scanner for US$8,000. That
was a fantasy in my mind, (although I wish he had made a reasonable
offer.) He only commented as to the price of the thing. Eric, appologies
if the email sounded like you're selling something you didn't intend to
sell. (Now, if you really want to make a deal, . . .)
