I would recommend:
- - CPU as fast as possible. PhotoShop performance depends on CPU-Power. (In
case of Nikon LS2000 Scanner with ICE even scan times depends on CPU-Power.
I just switched from 233 to 450 MHz)
- - 256 MB RAM or more (With my old machine (160 MB) the Epson Stylus Photo
with "Finest Details Option" checked needed 4 hours before it starts
printing.)
- - 8 MB Video RAM (This is enough for 1280*1024 and True Color)
- - SCSI (is fast and every fast scanner needs it)
- - 21 inch monitor for 1280*1024
- - CD-ROM and CD-Writer (CD-Writer for cheep 650 MB Media, CD-ROM for copies
and it reads faster than the CD-Writer)
