The only F3 ad I saw that used the "pro image" was a battered F3 on a map of Burma (I think) with a passport, climbing ropes and other "adventure" props. The catch line was, "We get the worlds worst assignments." The only time I have seen a Leica used in a photojournalism theme was in a cigarette ad for "News International" (? European?). It was a couple of M3's worn by a "handsome" gentleman, dressed for desert warfare, with his local guides. The "image" is important....
