Tom, All my "testing" is in the field. That's where they're supposed to work, so I guess that makes sense for me. So I guess that I'm getting better results with the Leica, because I'm used to the way they work (feel). I never liked the feel of the 70-200 L Canon. So big, and difficult to focus on an EOS1n in manual. It is a great lens. Glad to hear you're shooting up a storm. You might want to have the contacts checked on your winder. I'm betting that you'll find Leica replaces them and you won't have any more trouble. They've already changed the winder some from the original model. - -- Eric Welch St. Joseph, MO http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes
