Eric:

a new Leica Vario-Apo-Elmarit 70-180/2.8 costs around 9,000 DEM, which is
roughly three times as much as the new Nikkor AF-S 80-200/2.8. Prices for
new items should be compared, not for used ones.

Who else than Leica could make a camera like the R8 ?
With that unique design and above all: that ergonomics.
Nikon ? Canon ? Nobody but Leica !
