I have a book by Marc Riboud about Ankor Wat that was shot in the 60s
and then in the 90s.  Considerable differences in the characteristics of
the images.  The earlier are soft and newer are sharper and with better
tonal smoothness.  All Leica.  I attributed the differences to the
film.  Maybe not.
