Tom:

The point, in my opinion, is that they should never bill your card for
anything that they can't ship out the same day that it is billed. One
shouldn't have to call to correct a credit card charge. I spend thousands of
dollars with my local dealer and I get prices equal to or, in most cases,
better than B & H. I also receive information, no shipping charges, no
telephone calls, walk out of the store with my purchase and there are no
invoices to correct. But more importantly I don't have to deal with rude
people over the telephone and the worry if I am going to have to spend my time
and aggravation trying to correct a problem. I have purchased from B & H. I
purchased film and the prices were good. I have called several times to
discuss Leica and Nikon lenses. I only ask for price and availability and I
felt like I was bothering them by calling. Not rude, but quick, semi-curt and
unfriendly.

Sorry, I am not interested in doing business with rude people. When a
foundation is built on price only it is made of sand. People mean a lot more
to me than saving a few cents here and there.

You are sooooo wrong. You are never stuck at B&H. They will cancel your
backorder and credit you card the day you call. I spend thousands and as
little as $50 on some invoices, and I never had a problem that left me
"stuck". They may make mistakes, but they always fix them, and honorably.
