Subject: Re: [Leica] Use 135mm Anymore?

I have three 135mm M lenses (Elmar, Tele-Elmar, first Elmarit) and a slew
of others in LTM (CZJ Sonnar, CZJ Triotar, Jupiter, &c), as well as a few
for the various SLR lenses I use on rare occasion; I also use a 2.8/18cm
CZJ Sonnar on my Hasselblad 2000 a good deal -- interestingly, a
professional client recently chose a shot I made with this lens over those
made with more modern Oberkochen lenses.

I have no difficulty focusing or framing with a 135 on either my M3 or M6.

I, too, like head-and-shoulders head shots, and the 135mm lens is a
wonderful one for that purpose. When I am travelling, I tend to opt for a
35/50/90 combination, but, for the Full Monty, a 135mm is vital.
