As I am one of the few LUGgers based in Czech republic, here are some my thoughts about spending Christmas in Czech: You definitely have to spend some days in Prague. Although at the Christmas time the city is quite full of foreign tourists, I think it still has its special atmosphere and the old parts of the city are marvelous. Also the days just before Christmas - evenings in the city with street fairs and christmas trees and fish vendors - are quite an opportunity for every happy M6 & Noctilux owner -:) . (Don`t need to say that I`ll be happy to meet you personaly here). If you are planning to spend some days in the mountains, I`ll recomend Krkonose or Jizerske hory as the places with the biggest opportunities for winter sports. You can find there fine and quiet places although the bigger ski centers are often full of german tourists. Tina, I would be happy to help you finding accomodation or whatever else you and your family should need here. Can find some travel agencies that provide accomodation and/or discuss your program more thoroughly with you. Just send more ideas what would you like to see and do here. Best regards Jiri Rehorek Prague, Czech republic P.S. ... and please, forgive my english.
