Hello Akhil, The magic words are "used lightly". Some of the components used in the circuitry will die if they don't have voltage applied regularly. The manual which came with my Metz flash says if it's not being used regularly, switch on every few months and fire off half-a-dozen flashes. Regards, Doug Richardson
